Slaughter To Prevail is a death metal band that has been on the come up for the past year. You may have seen viral videos of the lead vocalist, Alex Terrible, either fighting bears or smashing a microphone into his head on stage. (Don’t worry, he’s alright… he fights bears for fun, we already knew he would be okay.)

Slaughter To Prevail’s band members are from Russia and have already made quite an impact since signing with Sumerian Records in 2016. In a recent Instagram post by Alex Terrible, he was transparent about his upbringing from growing up in Russia, addressing some rumors surrounding his tattoos that have led his fans to believe he was a nazi, to explaining how he has changed since coming to America and how he has made the effort to change and grow.

Slaughter To Prevail has established their genre of metal as death metal or death core. With their most popular and viral album being “Demolisher”, it has brought in a lot of newer listeners as well with their incredible break downs in most of their songs.
