Behind the Artist: Imminence

Founded in Trelleborg, Sweden, Imminence has been up and coming for quite some time now. Imminence provides a unique addition to the style of music they cater to. Eddie Berg, the lead vocalist, also specializes in the violin which adds a great flare in between verses. As seen in this recording session, Eddie Berg is seen doing his vocals while playing the violin according to the timing of his tracks. Over the years, their sound has changed significant. They began leaning towards a harder, metal core banned but over time tapped into a more creative feel to their music which adds sort of a n orchestra like flair as Eddie Berg incorporates the violin into most of his songs.

This self-made band had originated in Sweden with the lead vocalist, Eddie Berg and guitarist, Harold Barrett. These high school best friends had a passion for metal and were not interested in giving up. They were determined to produce their own music, music videos and even their own apparel! Imminence prides themselves on sustainability in their apparel and to commit to this, they are completely self-efficient. Their entire apparel company is run by the band and only the band, including ordering top-quality fair-trade material, packaging, and shipping orders. The band also prides themselves in having the ability to book their own tours, producing their own music videos, and producing their own music. This ensures that they hold full creative control of their music and are adamant about not changing to standards that don’t align with their morals. They are firm believers that music evokes emotion and a great way to express what others may also be feeling in this moment. After their release of “The Black” album, Imminence announces their 2024 U.S. tour. As Imminence continues to grow, we will continue to show our support as their music evolves beautifully into what this band worked hard for.
